Requirements

What we look for in publisher accounts.

Verified imprint

Company registration and a signed publisher agreement. Onboarding within 5 business days.

Clean metadata

ISBN (where applicable), age band, language, territories and rights model per title.

Rights integrity

You warrant the rights to publish. We provide the tools to keep those rights straight.
Content compliance

Editorial standards.

  1. 01

    Accurate age bands

Kids-band titles pass a separate review before publication.

  2. 02

    Content warnings

Mature-content and trigger warnings must be included when applicable.

  3. 03

    No hate speech

Content that violates our Community Guidelines is removed and refunds honoured.

  4. 04

    Localisation

Translations must credit source, translator and original publisher.

Distribution standards

How your catalog reaches readers.

Territorial control

Set include/exclude territories per title. Enforced at read-time via geo-checking.

Subscription inclusion

Opt-in per title. Per-read royalties settled weekly with a full audit trail.

Bulk ingestion

CSV upload, ONIX 3.0 feed, or REST API. Idempotent — safe to re-run.

Analytics & reporting

Reads, listens, retention, geography, revenue — exportable as CSV or via API.

AI & BYOK

Your keys, your control.

Bring your own AI provider

Configure 35+ AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, Groq, Bedrock, Vertex, OpenRouter and more) from Admin → LLM. Custom base URLs supported for corporate proxies. Author works are never used to train foundation models without opt-in.
